highly doubt 306 will pass. Ive heard people of people with full emmisions that have passed, but they had to bump their idle up to 1400 or so to keep the NOx down.

Thats just what a little birdy told me, so i cant say for certainty.

I have heard that you have to tune a 306 really lean to get it to pass. I would say that most likely you are not going to get that to pass...also, IMHO, I would say that unless you are going to do some head work you should steer clear of that cam anyways....but that is me talkin.

Why? I hear of people running the CC306 hitting 355+ rwhp with just exhaust mods.

Well...to me a 306 is a little big for a stock engine. I am sure many disagree w/ me but I think the RPM range is too high for s stock engine. I understand that they do make good power; however, at the same time it just seems kinda big. Maybe I am weird.

lt is kinda big for stock heads, but i had a 306 cam in my car with stock heads. It dynoed 350 rwhp and pulled like a raped ape. That cam really wakes up the car.

I don't know if a shop around you could do it but, ion at www.madz28.com can. He did mine and mine runs great........and VERY good custumer service and prices too! Oh, and for the question of passing emmisions, I have HEARD of people passing but I don't see how. Comp Cams warn you right off the bat, if you're buying the cc306 that it will NOT pass the sniffer.

Yeah and one more thing. We don't have the sniffer test here, just plug into the computer and I think just checks to see if any codes are thrown.. Anybody with this kind of test pass?

What exactly does the rpm range mean? Yes it is 1800 - 5800 rpm.
