If you are going to supercharge your engine, you should look for a camshaft ground for that application.

The answer to your question is the same answer given to the question "which cam should I go with"?

I.e. the answer is based on what you intend to to with the car, e.g., drivability, idle, gas mileage, durability, daily driver, racer, etc.

You can use a blower with just about any cam profile. Most agree that you should choose a cam with a wider lobe separation, e.g. 113-115 degrees so that you get maximum scavenging without pulling the new fuel mixture out with the exhaust stroke when there is too much overlap, i.e, the intake and exhaust valves are open at the same time. Boost increases the push of the mixture in at a higer rate and effectively pushes some of it out the exhaust with a narrow lobe sepation. So after you decide what kind of cam you want based on the above questions, consider getting that cam with a wider lobe separation like 114.

I am by no means an expert on anything, but there are members here who can provide whatever you need.JMHO

if you want to supercharge the engine than get a cam for it like a xe224/236 on 114. If you going to stay na look into the xe 224/230 on 110 or 112. The cc306 is a very old cam, not to say that its bad but there are newer things around. Theres also a xe230/236 which still the xe design if your still looking into the 224/230. Comp has came out with the xfi grinds now too. So i would also look into them.
As for power, the bigger cams will make more power provided your heads can support them. But with a bigger cam will come more driveability and tuning issues. Good luck

Those cams are way different. One is gonna want 6,500+rpm (306), the other less than 6,000 (503).
