Bigger isnt always better although the 306 is a proven cam. I have a cam with way less duration and slightly more lift and I made the power in my sig....

A solid roller would be the way to go though...

thanks and i do know if you go to big you lose because my friend had a stock 350 and put in a lunati 292 avd dur cam and it fell on its face every launch

Since it's critical that heads & cam work in unison, it would be beneficial to know more about the heads you plan on bolting up to your new motor. Personally, I'd wait to see what the heads do on the bench, then choose a cam that will complement them. JMHO

There is no way that is possible with LT1 or even LT4 castings...with a set of AFR's its possible.

i dont know he owns krs machining and he said its possable he is the expert so when they get flowed ill know.


and for the specs on cam my box says (i have 5,000 dollars of parts in my room. adv dur:290 int .307 ext
dur @.050 :229 int .245 ext
valve lift :510 int .540 ext
lobe sep: 112.0
lt1 290 hr-12

The only way you're going to pull 330cfm out of GM LT1 heads, is with some VERY skewed flow bench numbers.
