cc306 and 3.42's???

The only person i can recall is "Kreimc" (sp?) who ran 3.42's with the cc306 cam. I plan on 4.10 gears right after the cam but will the 3.42's work for a few weeks? As long as its a bit faster than it was with the stock cam hehe.

I have 3.73's with my 306 and I don't think its enough. I'm sure 3.42's will be ok, for now that is. IMHO 3.90 gearing is optimal, then again so would be a 9"

I did it. The car really didn't like 5th at anything under 50mph and didn't like 6th at anything under 65mph. Don't cruise 10-15mph in first gear, learning to use the clutch will be necessary. Other than that it was fine. You will finish the 1/4 in third for best times/mph's. The car WILL feel like a turbo car. when you hit 5k the car will feel like it instantly picked up 100 ponies lol.

I don't have a cc306 but i do have a large cam, and 3.42's work fine. I wouldn't want them forever. That is why i have 3.90's on the way.
