In the end you feel bad for the new guy, because I'm sure to them it seems like no wants to help them. Once they do find that magic search button, its amazing at how much information is in this board. You could spend days reading about all the stuff.

They both have about the same duration, I'm not sure what the lobes look like, so they should rev to about the same rpm.

LT4 has a 112 lobe sep compared to the 305's 114. So it'll make a bit more torque.

The 305 has more lift, it would have 540/540 with 1.6'rrs while the LT4 has 525/525 with 1.6's.

If your looking for a cam like this, just get a custom one ground from Comp Cams, it costs the same as a normal cam of theirs, $240+S&H.

Get a 220/230, 112 lobe, 520/530 lift, then with 1.6'rrs the lift will jump to 550/560.

On my next engine, I'll go with a CC305 like cam.

They are waaaaaay to similar to compare. I flipped a coin & by my times I am very very happy...

Don't mind everyone trying to pound the search feature down your throat..... Just get used to using it
