Figured I would list my goals. 350 rwhp cam only, daily driven. Want a very noticeable lope so people are like DAMN . Car is a 6 sp with 4.10's, and I dont wanna rev any higher than 6500 tops. I will also be sprayin a 100-125 shot on top of it.

And if you can afford a custom cam like speed demon, then this thread is pointless.
Do you have a dyno graph with RPM's with your combo? I was trying to compare it to mine but it's kind of hard to with it in MPH. BTW get some track times for your car, dyno #'s really don't mean ****, expecially comparing a dynojet to a mustang dyno.

If you want to only rev to 6500 tops stick with something in the low-mid 220's duration wise on the intake. CC503, CC305, GM 846, ect. Or go custom.

I want to go custom, but cant afford to get a dyno tune right away, and I know with a proven off the shelf cam, a mail order tune can get me almost dead on, then when I can afford the dyno tune, I can get one.

CC503 would be best.Great power with a very noticable lope.Your exhaust can also play a large part. Did you hear the lope in the video?

doesn't need custom...a tried and true shelf grind will suit his goals just fine.

ryan, if i had to do it again, i would have done a 305 in a automatic, and a 6 speed i wuld have done a 306....for roll races it pulls great up top...if i were you and you HAVE to keep it under 6500 then go 305 and be happy...woull like it...if it were me, id do 306 dont worry about bearings in a new motor make sure you pout s stock volume pumpand machine it good, mine was kinda tight, pressure was 80 at wot...and 50 at idle...
keep fresh oil in it also...mine lived 8k miles like that+125 shot...and still kicking today!

cc503 > cc305.

Here's a list of the most popular cams in case you haven't seen it. Check out the RPM ranges. You'll usually have to shift a few hundred RPM higher than the range, though, so keep that in mind.

Shhhhhhh we keep that cam a secret around these parts.

I will say this though... the 230/236 revs to the moon as well. So your not escaping much by going to that cam.

If you want a fun cam on stock heads look into the much over looked GM 846, or the ever popular cc503.

What kind of power can i expect with a GM 846, or a CC503 ground on a 110 LSA?
