CC RR's are defective

CC RR's are defective

Got everything put back together went to start, mechanic says, rocker fell off floating a valve and breaking a keeper. he took it to the machine shop and found out it was defective. Actually 2 of them. I've heard of this happening before. This happen to anyone?, Im wondering if comp cams will send me 2 new ones. Ill call Cms where i got them too theyre allways helpful. Sux cuz i was hopin to drive it this weekend

Which rockers were they? And do you trust your mechanic? 2 defective rockers in the same kit seems a little fishy, you might want to check with whoever did the assembly.

Im now SURE that i got a NON self-aligning rocker in my SA set. ill have to buy one from comp and they'll reimburse me for it when i send it back. It was only one but jeezus f-in christ. I'm just glad they caught it b4 i drove the car.....damn comp cams.

Iv'e had the worst luck. My brand new AFR's needed some machine work for an imperfection. My rksport headers needed to be bent at the collector 1/2 inch to fit. And now this....... 250 or so spent on BRAND NEW PARTS
