You should consider the CC503, a bit more agressive than the 305 and satill decent with stock heads.

Nope, but I can get one in a few. Just got out of the shower.

This winter the motor is getting ripped appart. I'm still trying to decide which cam I want. I like my low end with the 305 and I don't go over 5k

Here are some LT1 sound clips for ya

I think the CC305 section is actually the CC503, just looking at the cam durations listed. 224/230, 112lsa is the CC503. BTW - the 503 is a great cam. I really like mine .

Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.510 in.
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.510 in.
Lobe Separation (degrees): 114

CC-503:
Intake Duration at 050 inch Lift: 224
Exhaust Duration at 050 inch Lift: 230
Intake Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.503 in.
Exhaust Valve Lift with Factory Rocker Arm Ratio: 0.510 in.
Lobe Separation (degrees): 112

HOT CAM:

Looks like it should do pretty well with stock heads, after looking into it I am surprised more people aren't running them.

Cool - I was just currious because I have a similar exhaust setup. (Eldebrock TES -> SLP 2OTL)

Unfortunately for me, the cam swap is a while down the road.

So peak power would go to the 503 then 305 then hotcam right?
The 503 and 305 seem to be basically the same, whats the peak power difference between the two?

It wont be much at all, but the 503 seems to be the more popular mid size cam from searching the board. It is not "big" or even "wild", it is a great streetable cam with no ill side effects. You will see a big difference over the stocker.
