Catalytic Converter system low efficiency Bank 2 ???

SES light on and pulled trouble code P0430. (Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) system low efficiency Bank 2)

Should I just replace the cat conv or could it be something else?

More likely that it's your o2 sensor(s).

That's what it feels like to me. It seems like the fuel delivery is whacked. It feels like the gas just shuts off and kicks back in. I'll be going along and I will put my foot in the gas and it seems dead, then all of the sudden it kicks in and takes off. It pulls strong all the way up to 5500 rpm with no signs of there being a problem. It's just the initial push of the gas pedal it doesn’t like.

I just don't see how a cat with low eff. could cause these kind of symptoms.

The after cat O2 sensor code shouldn't affect driveability in any way. There is something else wrong.

First, clear up the O2 sensor code. Switch the left and right after-cat sensors. If the problem follows the sensor (changes to P0420), its a sensor problem. If the problem stays on the passenger side, could be the cat or could be a wiring problem. Sort that out first, then go after the driveability problem.
