cat back questions

Ive done the searches and still have questions. I'm down to Edelbrock, hooker, and Flomaster (all because of the price). Some have said the flomaster doesn't perform. I dont want it obnixiously loud.IS there a differance in performance beteween these 3?

Flowmaster is very raspy. Edelbrock is a deep mellow tone, very nice. I hear Hooker is very nice, but also sounds deep and raspy. They will all perform about the same.

I was leaning away from the flomaster, I've heard their on the loud side. The hooker is in the lead 'cuz they include a little chrome at he end of the pipe for the same $$$.

I have a sound clip of a Z28 with the hotcam, hooker shorties, and hooker catback and it sounds awesome. I think you should like it. The Edelbrock is nice, but the tips it comes with are nasty. They look like the tips off a V-6 Camaro.
