I'm willing to bet there are hundreds of pages on this if you search the LT1 engine area. Reading search results will save you time waiting for people to respond.

There's also an "exhaust" forum.

For the most part, they all make around the same power. Its more sound preference to you. Hit up some cruise in's or local get togethers and listen. You'll find one that sounds the best to you and go from there.

Ask the question 10 times, you will likely get 10 different answers.

I like my TSP Rumbler, but it is very loud. Magnaflow is pretty popular among many crowds, as are Corsa, Flowmaster, SLP GMMP, ect.

Re: cat back

Consider the Borla adjustable or the Loudmouth. The key is to make sure the intermediate pipe is at least 3.0" mandrel bent. That's where most of the improvement seems to be found.

There are also 3.5" and 4.0" catbacks, but they are generally used only in higher HP (450 flywheelHP and up) applications.

Re: cat back

My preference is GMMG. It's chambered exhaust and has an excellent, deep, muscley sound.

This is a great resource for comparing the sound of different exhaust options: LS1 Sounds - Your Comprehensive Exhaust Resource
