cars overheating

Ok put new radiator and fans in like a month ago then my car just started over heating yesterday so i put a new thermostate in it..so i let my catr sit for bout 10 mins an its redline for the temp...does anyone no wat the problem is..my friend said it might be a head gasket..does anyone else no wat it might b

Mine does the same, but there is a specfic procedure to add coolant to the system. You might want to check shoebox's site and see if you did it the "LT1 way."

Ok i did the install of antifreeze correctly and the bleeder valves and wat not n still over heats ...fans turn on and nothin leaks..still stumped
