Angry Car won't start!! Please help!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, lately I've been having some trouble starting my car. Usually after the 2nd try it starts right up and I take off. This morning however, I tried to start it and nothing happened. No clicking, no rolling over, nothing. I used some jumper cables to try and jump start it, but that didn't work either. I think the battery has plenty of charge because the lights and stereo work, and the gauge shows it right in the middle of (+) and (-).

Could it be my starter?

If its not doing anything at all it probably is your starter if it was something else it would at least attempt to start.

No turnover, no clicking. Yes, the gauges and interior dash lights come on.

Ok well I would take a remote starter and connect it to the starter and see if it will turn over that way. Had any problems with your air conditioner, or notice any excessive black residue coming from your belt wearing.....The reason I say that is because I had a vehicle with the same problem and it was because my air conditioner was locked up and not allowing the belt to turn over. Just some ideas to check out.. also check your battery cables to make sure that they are tight and getting a good connection.......but it really sounds like your starter is bad...

That's weird. I have noticed that my A/C is not blowing very cold lately. I haven't noticed anything with the belt though.

Do you know if changing out starters is very difficult?

I havn't done it but it doesn't look like a real quick job. I would try the remote starter idea before you replace it or take a screw driver and touch the red wire and purple wire post so see if it tries to engage.....
