I recently unplugged the jet chip that came with my car when I bought it, after replugging back in the wiring harness to the PCM, the car now wont start, the SES light does not even come on and I cannot get my computer to hook up to the ADL port and communicate. I unplugged the harness and smelt a burning wire smell from the same connector that the jet chip was plugged into, the connector and port and jet chip conector and port smell of burning wires, I then opened up the PCM to try to find a break on the board and did not find any, nor smelt the burning wires, so I then checked the grounds of the PCM which are working, next I checked the reference voltage to a few sensor while the ignition was on and got nothing, but their resistance checked out ok. No i am lost, it seems like the PCM, just wanted to get a second opinion. If is PCM, where can I get a good replacement, I have been looking at MadTuner.com, they have a good price of $140, any other suggestions where to get ine or any other checks I can perform to see if my PCM is working, Thanks in advance.
