car wont start,need ideas quick

car wont start,need ideas quick

about 2 months ago I replaced the msd coil with a stocker,car has ben running fine up until a few weeks ago,it has power and will crank but wont turn over,last time it did it I gave it just a little gas and it eventually started,now nothing, it runs fine when I get it started, I can hear the fuel pump prime and the injectors tick,I dont know what else it could be,any ideas?

Just cause you can hear it prime doesn't mean it's working perfect..
check the pressure on the fuel rail..

I dont have access to a fuel pressure guage

You can do a few easy things. First relieve any pressure in the schrader valve. Now cycle power on then off about 5 or 6 times. Now check the schrader valve again to see if pressure came back.

Next check a few plugs for spark. Be sure to check a back plug as well. While you have the plug out either check compression, do a leak down test or simply hold your finger over the plug hole while cranking to see if it shoots air out.

If you have spark, try squirting fuel in the intake while someone cranks it over. If that doesn't do it, jump the upper right 2 pins pins on the ALDL to retrieve the DTC's.

we checked the shrader valve and recycled it,still squirts out gas

Did you totally relieve the pressure before cycling power?
