car wont start,need ideas quick
about 2 months ago I replaced the msd coil with a stocker, car has ben running fine up until a few weeks ago,it has power and will crank but wont turn over, last time it did it I gave it just a little gas and it eventually started, now nothing, it runs fine when I get it started, I can hear the fuel pump prime and the injectors tick,I dont know what else it could be,any ideas?
You can do a few easy things. First relieve any pressure in the schrader valve. Now cycle power on then off about 5 or 6 times. Now check the schrader valve again to see if pressure came back.
Next check a few plugs for spark. Be sure to check a back plug as well. While you have the plug out either check compression, do a leak down test or simply hold your finger over the plug hole while cranking to see if it shoots air out.
If you have spark, try squirting fuel in the intake while someone cranks it over. If that doesn't do it, jump the upper right 2 pins pins on the ALDL to retrieve the DTC's.
