Re: car wont start HELP PLEASE

im like 99% sure that i have the neutral safety switch taken care of because i called a friend of mine that is GM tech and he also has a 95 and he told me over the phone which ones they were. that is where i got the idea to check for the ohms in the key and under the dash.

Re: car wont start HELP PLEASE

I'm having an on going problem with my theft deterent relay in the glove box. My problem is only on hot starts tho. Everything works fine until I turn the key and all I here is the relay making noise or nothing at all. I've replaced the relay, but it still happens. Check your BCM and relays using the diagram Shoebox provided.

I guess now you don't have to worry about the BCM that you don't have, anyway.

The second post...the one you apparently used...gives full battery voltage to the ignition on start up in some older cars. It is energized when the solenoid is activated to start the engine. After that the ignition uses an inline resisitor of some kind.

Hmmm....obviously I didn't know that. Learn something new everyday. What year did they come into play?
