Car wont start.. help...

Ok here is what happened.

Went for a drive, car started and drove fine.
About an hour and a half later, went to start the car. Car turned over and started, then started stalling out. Smelled really rich. Started again, ran a little, and stalled again. Kept trying to start, and it progressively started getting worse and wouldnt start at all. It turns over, but doesnt start.

I havent noticed anything weird lately, except my voltage is kind of irratic. Usually runs at standard range at cruising RPM, but at the same RPM it'll dip down to the orange section, then go back up.

Suggestions??

Tough to say without more data, but it might be flooded. Try holding the gas pedal to the floor while cranking and see if it helps any.

see if you can get the car scanned.. if you cant then pull the PCM fuse and see if resetting the computer makes a difference. of course if you can get your hands on a scanner now before you clear what codes might be present.. that would be the best.

Hold pedal to the floor and turn over for about a minute. When it starts to fire let off of starter. Try that. It worked for me last week.
