Car wont start/everything replaced/possibly fuel pump?
Hi and thanks for anybody replying to my post.Ok a month and a half ago I had problems with my car,it wouldnt start. So They put a new crank sensor, opti, plugs and wires, water pump, and ecm in it because they were all toast.Anyways the car ran good after that and $2700 later.Ok so today I leave for work I start it up ,it runs rough because of the cold.I give her gas a little then I leave for work. Its only a mile away from my house so I park it,and go inside. So 5 hours later I need to leaverfor my house I get in it and try to start it,it doesnt. Its got full juice on the battery, the starter is fine and so is the alternator.it just keeps turning over and nothing. Then I try to pop start it in 2nd gear(I have tried thisin the past and it has worked). That didnt work.I am very fustrated I have dumped a lot of money into my car,and i hope it will not cost me a lot of money.Do you guys think it is possible that it could be a fuel problem? My injectors are only a year and a half old,but my fuel pump is still the original one.I was told that those could go at anytime.ANY guesses would be appreciated !Right now its at Firestone and they said they would get to it tommorrow. thanks
I had a similiar problem about a month ago. I thought it was my starter motor but it wasn't. It ended up being the clutch relay switch that is under the dashboard (driver side) it cost me $5.77 just to fix it and I had spent over $200 for nothing. So you might want to do some testing or having someone do the test for you.
Are you absolutely sure your starter is fine? Have you double checked the timing? Have you tested all the wires to see if they're gettin power?
EDIT: I don't wanna patronize you or anything by suggesting the obvious, but have you checked the fuel line running from your tank to the engine bay and everything after that?

Thanks for the replies,The only reason I am going thru firestone is because I can get a discount there from friends who work there.Maybe it is the igntion module.but Im pretty positive that the starter is ok.And like I said it does turn over normally ,damn cars I tell ya..
well if you kindof think it's the fuel pump....when you turn the ignition on listen you should hear a little whir-type noise...pump pressuring the fuel lines. If you don't hear it, it would indicate it is not working at all, if you hear it, doesn't mean it's working properly......more testing should be done
