Exclamation Car wont start...

So I went out to start my car today and it wont start! Im not gonna lie I was pretty pissed! It turned over fine but it didn't want to start,it was like it wasn't getting any gas. I live in Michigan and we got a bunch of rain that basically froze my car over but im not really sure why my car wouldn't start.

Don't see much freezing other than maybe some water in the fuel filter. Try squirting fuel in the intake while some one cranks it over.

Do all of the usuals ie check fuel pressure, check for spark, etc.

EDIT: I'll also add this link. http://www.mainstreamtopics.com/foru...p?showtopic=78

mine did that and I wiggled the icm connector and it worked so if you know in the past if you touched that then maybe the prongs are looses in the connector and just bend them back and bit and put the plug back. But it could also be many things. Fuel spark...........

Have you checked anything that was already suggested?

I sprayed some gas in the intake and nothing...I talked to my dads friend that is a mechanic and he thinks its the Ignition Coil Pack....now my next questions is should I go with a cheap coil pack or go for the 50-60 buck one? My car is pretty much stock.

Thanks

I was going to suggest coil also. My car was doing that when my coil wire got loose some how and the connection tip was all coroded.

Then again my car did the same thing when my cat got clogged. I could drive it smooth but give it some gas and it would almost die.

Coils are simple devices and you can get them anywhere. Doesn't make a difference who you get it from. But have you looked at yours?

Ok...So my dads mechanic put a new Coil Pack on it and it still didn't start...He said its getting gas because he can smell it when it turns over, and he cleaned the #1 spark plug and he said it would of at least tried some kind of start if it was the plug and wires....

Check for codes to figure out why the SES light came on..... makes a lot more sense than guessing and replacing parts at random. Since you have a 93, you can flash the codes on the SES light by jumping the ALDL pins.

On two separate ocassions, first the coil connector, then the ICM connector went out on me, leaving me stranded twice. I guess they don't hold up well past 100K miles.
