car wont start

car wont start

Has this happened to anyone: i have a 97 z 6spd, took it to 5800 rpms shifted to second and when i released the clutch my car died and no i cant get it start again, ive checked all the fuses, unhooked the battery to reset the ecu but all it will do is crank but wont turnover, would apreciate some help.

You might have broke your timimng chain. I would take off a valve cover and see if the rockers are moving.

Fuel pump would be another suggestion.

i took valve cover off and the rockers do move when i crank it, also i pulled the coil wire of the distributor to check for spark and there wasnt a spark, would that mean the coil is bad or maybe the coil module?

Coil should be replaced asap. but i would also check all connetions.
