This list came straight from the painless manual for the harnes, and i have confirmed that the haness will only work with these partnumbers listed. I confirmed this over the phone while speaking to a painless rep.

Ecm service number 16188051

brake switch gm # 25524845

IAT Gm # 12110319

ICM Ac Delco # D-1986-A

Fuel pump relay Gm # 14089936 or Ac delco # 15-8240

Coolent temp sensor Gm# 25036979

Ignition coil Ac Delco # D-573

O2 sensors Gm# 25312184 or Ac Delco # AFS 75

TPS sensor Gm # 17106680

Egr solenoid Ac Delco # 214-396

Gear indicator switch Gm # 15705308 or Ac Delco # D-2286A

MAP sensor Gm # 16137039

IAC sensor Gm # 17113099

Knock sensor Ac Delco # 213-96

Air pump relay Gm # 14100455 or Ac Delco # 15-8426

Air pump Ac Delco # 2604-4885

MAF sensor Ac Delco # 213-252

Canister purge solonoide Gm # 1997201 or Ac Delco # 214-565

Componets with partnumbers other than listed may plug into Painless harness numbers 60502 and /or 60505, but the part numbers must match the list above for proper opperation.
Well, I dont have my 02 sensors, canistor purge, or air pump and a few other things on that list hooked up yet, but the painless manual said I didnt have to hook them up they werent being used, so that should'nt be a problem huh? I dont know. Even so, I had the LT1 harness connected via your write up, and it still didnt run. Not to say your write up is wrong, Im actually saying it was right, but I think there's something else wrong here. I just wish I knew what.

Also, if I were to buy all of these sensors, I could'nt use a different brand at all? Even if they can cross the part numbers?? If so that is ghey and Painless deserves a kick in the crothal region.

Alright. It may take a while. The next day I have to work on it will be next Wednesday. I'll check my plugs to make sure they all have good spark, and check my grounds.

Yeah, I actually wired it up using the "LT1 wiring for dummies" on thirdgen.org, I cant seem to find it now, it must have been deleted, but from what I saw it was almost exaclty the same as yours. Except they didnt have the wiring for the ALDL port. I'll check it out Wednesday and get back to you. Thank you for your help.

There write up was confusing and did leave a few things out. I just checked and all the pages work except page 1 where the write up is. I think mines a little easier to follow and it has all the info listed on it for you to doubble check if your not sure about something. makes thing alot easier than having to run in the house and search for pinouts and stuff like that.
