Well my car is having some issues. Whenever i get on it at about 4500 rpms the battery gauge starts looseing volts bad, then this causes the car to start popping and wont shift until let off of it. My air pump is going bad could this be part of my problem thanks for any help guys.

te first place to start is a charging system test. Autozone can do it for you. I would also check to make sure that the belt is good, tight, the tenioner is strong, and there is nothing on the belt that will let it slip IE power steerin fliud or weep hole driping coolant

 

check battery connections, grounds, alternator charging, battery life, coil,

that is where I would start

 

altenator is fine got it checked 2day and connections were all good
