Car trouble starting! HELP!

I know this probably has been covered, but i couldnt find any threads that directly cover my problem. Ok so about a month ago my car would fire up right away, doesnt matter if its 6am or 3pm at 100 degrees. Now my car barley starts up and i have to crank it twice and add gas to start it up. I dont know if its my fuel pump or my battery.I dont know how to find the fuel pressure but Please help.

More information: Does it crank good and just not start? Does it crank slowly or barely turn over? If it cranks slowly or not at all it would be a battery problem---too little juice. If that is the case, you probaly need a new battery, especially if your present one is any wheres near the warrant expiration. If your fuel pump is going, you might want to check the fuel pressure by hooking a fuel pressure gauge to the schrader valve which is located on the pass side near the firewall----it has a little screw on cap over the actual valve which works like a tire valve, i.e, it opens when it is depressed. Get a regular gauge with a hose, but make sure the end of the hose will fit easily up under the cowling a attach to the schrader valve. Visit your local shop and have them choose the right fitting. The std. pressure should read around 43-35 psi with the vavuum hose (on the regulator unhooked) and around 8 less with the vacuum line attached.

If it is not a battery problem or a fuel problem, perhaps your plugs may be in need of changing (fouled or worn). Also as far as fuel, you might want to change your fuel filter as a prevention measure. Also make sure that your air filter is clean. If you have more information, let us know. JMHO

hey thanks for the info! Appreciate it. Now the car doesnt even start, it makes clicking noises when i turn the key. the oil pressure goes up after i crank it a couple of times. It use to crank but not so much anymore. Also, the schrader valve is located on the rear right of the intake manifold right? Also, where can i get a fuel filter? Im going to get a new FPR from autozone too.
