its a 95, the car still has good seats, pasenger door, t-tops back glass spoiler window glass, engine, tranny, rear, year old a/c, opti, water pump. 2 brand new tires 3 good rims and still starts..... hell it was in a head on colision with a pole.. and the radiator stilll is holdin water...

but there is still a lot of damage to the front.... cheaper to buy one then fix it...

if i were to sell it what should i ask for it. there is a guy who would buy it and fix it he owns a body show. so he is an option or if some one on here wants to buy it let me know....

i have seen these lt1 engines and trannys for like 3000 or more in papers for sale.. let me know

Unfortunalty that car wasn't worth a whole lot (maybe 5-6k) before the accident. Running it into a pole didn't help its value any. If you want to get anything out of it, I would part it out. As a whole car I wouldn't pay more then a grand or so.

3k seems a bit high for the engine and trans unless its all rebuilt.

Yea I've been shopping around for LT1s and trannys for a LOONG time now and they can range anywhere from 1200 to 3500 complete (i.e. all accessories, brackets, wiring harness, exhaust to cat, PCM, etc). This also means engine and trans mounted together, separate price obviously drops. As for the whole car, I have to agree that parting it out is the best idea. I wrecked my car (paid about $2k to fix it) and it was considered totaled at that price to fix. Insurance company said it was only worth $1800. Granted its a V6, thats still a rip off. Needless to say, I only have liability now as it is not worth it to pay for collision. Anyway, sorry for the rant, if you want an idea of what things are worth, check out some F-Body salvage yards like Trans Am Creations and HP Salvage for their prices. You could probably ask them straight up how much a 199x LT1 with xxx,xxx miles on it is worth. Anyway, sorry to hear about the wreck, I know how it feels, and good luck getting some cash for it.
