Car is staying real consistent at the track..

Took it out tonight, it was a good bit warmer than last time I took the car out, and still went 118.84 trap (after dropping 4 lbs out of the tires over last time).

Unfortunately I got kicked out for no 6 point cage after my first pass:

11.42@ 118.84 1.596 60'

Looks like a roll bar is going in soon, then my quest for 10's continues this winter. Maybe do some suspension stuff during the summer

Impressive! Slicks?I think I could be close to that with slicks and long tubes. Are you keeping it in third or OD? Seems like with the 4/11's you would top out in third.

The car is set to shift at 6800, I don't top out in 3rd.

M/T DR's.

Your LE3 cam wants alot more stall than a Vigi 2800, I can guarantee you that

Good luck with your goal. You're entering the money pit zone where we all just start spending tons to reach our goals. Seems those last couple 10ths end up costing the most time, work and money.

The car runs well, congrats.

Congrats on great times, and I'm sure you will get more out of it.

So how about the full slip?

Thanks tireburnin, and I agree this is where stuff starts to get real expensive.

It's at home, I'll post the full slip later

This isn't my best pass tho :P

Good job in the heat down there...A few suspension mods/tweaks should get that thing in the 1.40s and that when its gonna get interesting...You still running the stock TA with the 9"? I'm betting its binding a bit because of the offset of the 9" center section...And a 58mm TB amy be something to look at...Keep up the quest and remember to have fun...You flash it from idle this time or build rpm again?

Hopefully, if I beat this sinus infection I'll be at a track rental tomorrow in 45 degree air trying to see if the 3" TDs are worth anything at the track...I'm in the same boat as you about a roll bar...I've got the chrome moly just ran out of the labor $$$$...

My car is scheduled for an 8 pt. the end of may. I don't think my tracks tech officials will have much sense of humor about what this car should run, if I try it without one...LOL.

Thanks dude, and yes, the car is still running the stock TA.

Plans for this year/summer are: 58mm TB, dyno tune, 6 point, TA, rear shocks, and some other stuff I imagine.

Not sure what I'm gonna do on the 6 point, chromoly or mild... the weight savings doesn't seem to justify the cost diff.. but let me look into some of the local chassis guys around here before I go buying a wolfe.

That 45* dry air weather sounds nice tho!! It was probably mid to high 70's when I ran yesterday with 50% + humidity.

Was this a test and tune night, or was there some sort of racing program going on? If it was T&T I thought most tracks don't get to stinky about the rollbar if your only a few tenths under the 11.50et. Or are they just that strict at your track?
