I fixed the gnd and car didn't start. :-( retest of test light on the FI plugs still doesn't flash while cranking.

I pulled the pcm out, pulled off conn A (red) and checked the A2 and A18 pcm gnds just to see if gnd was getting to the pcm, and they are gnded.

Right now I am out of ideas of what to check next, any ideas are welcome. Thanks,

Tom

Have you checked for continuity on all of the FI harnes wires (from the computer to the plug)? Did you pull the rail up and crank the car to see if they are spraying? Need to PM SpeedyGonzalez and get him in here; he's pretty knowledgeable about all of the wiring.

No, I can check that - thanks. There's a nice table in the rep man showing all pcm connections and the trouble assoc. with each, gonna check all that says cranks but no start.

Aside from wiring, is there any component malfunction that will not allow the pcm to pulse the FI's? Other threads say Low res opti signal, theft det, etc?

If the opti is bad, it can shut the injectors off. If it was the theft det system, I'd think the security light would be on.

Ive checked a lot of continuities to FIs and found nothing.

The fuel enable on conn. A of pcm, suppose to get 40-60Hz? Im measuring 350Hz, with one key and 550 Hz with another. DC is +0.12V, on shoebox's website I think it says +2.5V DC.

No security light on dash and no DTCs, but still could be the theft det not pulsing the fuel injectors?

Edit: Security light comes on for 5sec when turn key to 'on' then goes off. Also, I was meas freq wrong, its pretty much 0.0Hz but voltage is still 0.12 v.
