i installed the cc305 cam and about 4500 rpm it sounds like im hitting a 2 step and i dont even have one. i tried replacing th opti with a used one that is in working coondition and the same problem still exsists. is it possible that the timing chain is off a tooth or two?

What do you mean by hitting a 2-step, the car is cutting out?

 

yea it cuts out and it sounds like a 2 step and u would think things are cokming apart under the hood. i replaced the opti already too. have u had this problem

 

Check your coil and wires. I had about the same and the coil was bad over 5000 rpm.

 

i'm running that msd blaster coil and i had heard that they do wierd things i i replaced it with one that i knew was good and it did the same thing

 

Check the coil to opti wire then, make sure its not acting funky.

 

do u mean replay it with a stock one just to see if it fixes it
