I have a 95 z28, Last week I let it sit because of the high gas prices. So I went out to start it today and it cranks, but won't start.

-I knew there wasn't a lot of gas, so I put a few gallons in before I tried starting it.
-When I first tried starting it, there was a loud pop (sounding like it was near the engine), at that time i relized something was wrong.
-I tried starting it again from time to time so i wouldn't flood it

I'm lost and need help. I'm not sure where to start with this one, it doesn't even start!!

is your battery charged? O yea if u think its flooded u let it sit because when you try to start it it just adds more fuel.

 

Sounds like you have some kinda parasitic load on the battery. Meaning that something is draining voltage from the battery while the car is off while this is normal to have like .1-.5 volts being drawn. You possible have some kinda short some where hope you get it fixed.

 

Did you not read his post? He said it cranks, just won't start.

 

Might just be the fuel filter... when's the last time you changed it?
