what is your fuel pressure during all of this? Tape a hose type gage to the windshield and check it out.

hey shootcaller,

I live in summerfield which is 10 min north of greensboro.

what year car do you have? do you have the rubber elbow securely fastened to the throttle body? scanned for codes? i might be able to swing by and help you out if you need it.

If it is the opti dont feel to bad. I replaced mine last spring with my new cam. That died 2 months later. I had someone else replace it and that 1 died in a month with the exact same symptoms you are talking out. I said the heck with it and will deal with it next spring. My car is a 94 and i put the vented 1 on and did not conect the vacuum line thinking it was nota big deal. That could be the source of my problems. Are yours hooked up the right way?
