This is the second time it has happened but my car has been sputtering when it gets hot(runs like it has really bad gas in it or something). It did it a week ago and then ran ok and then again today. Its leaking oil from the back of the intake manifold but the only 2 things that I can think of is that maybe #1, it is leaking oil into the intake ports which is not igniting causing the sputter or #2, the leak is bad enough that it is causing a huge vaccuum leak. I work all weekend so I wont be able to fix the leak but could it be anything else like maybe the coil or coil wire? I am open to any ideas.

On a side note, my car has started ticking pretty loudly. It sounds like the injectors but I only hear it when I stand outside the car or when I drive along a curb. I plan on a cam install later this summer so would anything I replace during the install fix this "tick"? Thanks alot guys.

The list is practically endless on what it could be. Since you have a noise to go with it, try checking for loose spark plugs.
