Whats up guys tonight i was leaving the mall trying to figure out what to get my girlfriend for her birthday tommorow when i was pulling out i pushed the gas the car just died and would not start . so i pushed it in to a midas that is right by our mall go figure anyway i set there for a minute started her up fired right up gave her some gas and she dies any ideas would be great .

you need to do some basic diagnostics like fuel pressure and check for spark

 

Took it to midas and they told me it was the air injector they were going to charge me $697.13 i told them go to hell i'll do it myself parts like 300 dollars and can only be bought at the dealer and ideas on how hard this is to change out thanks .

there is no reason the air pump would cause the car to not run

 

Yeah thats what i found out it does'nt need that part to run . But the problem was that my icm was lose and cause it not to get spark .One of my small bolts were loose . It was stripped out any ideas on how to get it to hold with a stripped bolt , what should i do. bigger bolt

I'd take a small bolt run it through with a nut on the back.. Problem solved..
