Car jerks at 2000 rpm
Car jerks at 2000 rpm
I am having a weird issue where my car starts jerking at around 1500 rpm and gets really bad at 2000 rpm. After 2000 everything smooths out. It does not matter what gear I am in or what speed I am traveling (except at slower speeds, the jerk is very apparent). Even in 6th gear, traveling at 90 (which i believe is at around 2000 rpm) you can feel a hesitation (jerk). Any ideas?
Thanks

2000 RPM Hesitation
I have a very minor hesitation at about 2,100 rpm. It's so
minor that most people do not even notice it. I wondered
if anyone else had the same thing. The hesitation did not
occur until after the install of Comp Pro Magnum 1.6:1
rockers. Or, it could have been there all along and was
just enhanced by the rockers.
I have never really looked into the EGR possibilities. It's
probably worth investigating. I am not experiencing any
performance degradation so I have not really looked into
it. Just my 2 cents.

same skip
I have the same problem as you all. My car skips from idle to about 2300 then its fine. I have just put in a vigilante 3300 lockup, and i have a 2.73 gear. When i am in over drive the car jerks bad. I just had the engine rebuilt with a new opti and everything. I was thinking it may be the cam (cc305) but i am going to order new plugs and wires friday. I will post the change if there is any. Yall keep this post updated if u dont mind so maybe we all can get rid of this dern skip.
Thanks
