CAR IS Going crazy possible opti
Well I can start my car it till around 1000 rpms then it will jump to 1500 rpms just keep doing that ,car has lost all power , I was driving my car in the rain yesterday when it happened, would the opti affect idle and shifting the car , I cleaned The Iac ,throttle body and maf , still doing it has no power at all could i have a vacuum leak ?

would the opti make the car rev up to 1800 pms to 2000rpms when i n park?, could the hoses on the passenger side of my throttle body cause the car to rev high? one has a split in it would this act like a vacuum leak?

Is it one of those vacuum lines? I had the bottom one(EVAP) unplugged for months, didnt make the car drive any different.
And yes a bad opti would cause the car to have a bad idle, like trying to take off then calming back down.

I personally haven't had that type of characteristic when my opti has gone out on me.
My car actually runs fine when it's cold, but when it gets good and heat-soaked is when my opti rears its ugly head. That's when it starts to buck and surge, and runs on 5-6 cylinders. If I REALLY baby it, and don't put it under any kind of load, I can limp it home. Can't wait 'till Thursday when I can finally get to it and change it. I've really been tied down to the local area, and going to work only and back home, and that's driving me nuts!

well i did get the car scanned the other day I had a code for Iac,Maf,and right O2 i think and trans output sensor, then we turned the car back off scanned again and code 51 ecm prom error, and trans ouput sensor, do u think MY cpu went bad and threw these codes, because it was running fine then just started surging and the rpms would go crazy do you think the mass would go bad and the Iac at once and cause these problems or do u think my ecm is just messed up, I mean I don't want to replace all these parts If the ecm is giving me false readings, what do you all think I should do
