I installed 373 gears, about a year ago never adjusted the pcm for it until today
well i used tunercat to program the gears,The car acts like it has a high stall converter in the car, is this normal feels more torqueier down low too, It acts like the tranny slips before the car shifts , but just after i programmed it. Did i do this right or did i do something wrong ? any help will be appreciated. thanks

 

I guess you would have to detail exactly what you did in the re-program for anyone to try to figure out if you did it correctly. You could always flash it back and see if still acts odd to you.

 

All I did was change The tire size to 245/50 r16
and change the gear ratio to 373

is there a noticeable affect when you program in for gears
or does it just fix your speedomoter for you?

 

Maybe the shift points if its an auto?

 

yeah, it would have changed the shift points back to the stock rpm/vss/tps, not with the incorrect vss reading(would have shifted low speed)

 

Its an auto, So does anyone know what else I have change tps, vss etc?
