Hmm, well, I know it's not a bad design, because it worked before. This really leads me to suspect the possibility one or more of the coilpacks are going out. I heard they weren't the greatest in terms of quality, anyways. Have you replaced your coils, yet? I'm thinking of going with these:

No I've had the same coil packs since day one (almost 2.5 years now). I know how to test the coil packs at low rpm by cranking but is there a way to test at high rpm?

No clue. I emailed JC @ Delteq about the problem and I'm waiting to hear back on his suggestions...
