hey guys my girlfriend had the car out tonight and and it started to act up.

its a 97 lt1 stock bottom end with H/C and supercharger@4.5psi and bolt-ons.less than 500 miles since rebiuld. car runs very strong but the clutch was slipping.boost guage and air fuel gauge not installed yet!!!

first, she says it sounded like some one shaking a coin in a tin can, and that it sounded like it was under her and not in the engine. then it started to smoke. she pulled off the highway and got to the first light and then it died and wouldnt start up again. she got it off the road. i show up 45 minutes later and the intake is roasting hot and the hood was up the whole time. the smell was awefull, like burnt plastic and something else. i smelt the air filter and it was even worse, so i undid the intake elbow and it was wet inside, like steam, so then i opened the TB smoke poored out.

anways had it towed but im curious to what it is.any thoughts?
