Car died!

yesterday i was pulling out of my drivway and as soon as i stopped to go forwards the car just died. it didnt stall or anything like that it was like i shut it off. the radio was still playing but if i turned the key the ACC there was nothing no dash lights came on, just nothing. wouldnt start but the radio still worked. so i waited about a minute went to get out of the car and decided to try it again and it just started right up.

any ideas of what could have caused this?

Re: Car died!

Yea, I would say bad ignition switch as well. I believe that when an automatic moves through any gear there is movement in the steering column. That could be the reason. Good Luck

Re: Car died!

I agree that it would be the ignition switch on the column or it also could be the theft relay in the glove box (like mine) or the BCM (body control module). Good Luck!
