cap and rotor pics. would they cause miss/stumble?

97 TA LT1 6spd
I am tracing down the stumble/miss/backfire that everyone seems to have issues with (although, nobody seems to post their resolutions, just problems...)
here are some pics of my cap and rotor, wondering if this looks like normal wear and could be the cause of problems?

The car drives fine, idle is great. Constant throttle will make the car accelerate to rev limit no problems. can cruise near rev limit no problems. seems to be slightly down on power.

Blip the throttle will cause hesitation/stumble then rev up. backfire on decel.
When you mash the gas at low RPM/high load (~1200) the car will miss and buck untill about ~2000 rpm.
past 2000 rpm Full throttle acceleration will miss/sputter just before rev limit (and maybe a back fire or 2).

fuel pressure 43/39 prime/off, 39 idle, 43 full throttle.
Just cleaned the KN CAI.
replaced ignition coil.
replaced 6 of 8 plugs (other 2 during opti install, along with wires all delco)
o2's seem to be working correctly (both are in voltage swings)
I have LT1_edit and Scantool/Elmscan

How many miles on the Opti? Seems normal for a high mileage cap and rotor.

~95,000 miles on the opti... probably needed a new one anyhow.
this didn't seem like it would cause my problem.
