Canton Road race pan leak question?

Although I love the design and engineering of my Canton Road Race pan I hate the fact that it drips oil from the plug. I've had it for a couple of years and I've tried different crush washers and even teflon tape around the threads and it still leaks....Any solutions??

Mine leaks too...I have only done one oil change so far (right after break in), and was hoping a new seal around the plug would fix it.

so did you just get rid of the copper crush washer then??....if that plastic washer works....does it have a part number and/are there any easy ways of identifying and aquiring one?...i'm open to other suggestions too

you can get a plastic/ rubber oil plug gasket at your parts store.

Most are in bins...just know what size your plug is.......the rubber caoted washer(looks like a A/C washer) works for leaky plugs pretty good

Also look closely at the seat surface for the plug (on the side of the pan) to make sure it's smooth/flat. Mine had a small weld drip on the bung on the pan which caused the washer not to seat fully. I had to file it down and replace the washer.
