Can't Understand the Code

So I was running the codes on my car for the first time, and after the DTC 12, the SES light did the following sequence:

Flash, Flash, Pause, Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash

It repeated this code 3 times, like it is supposed to. What code is that?

Well, if 12 is flash, pause flash flash then your long sequence is code 28.

1993 only--
Quad-Driver Module (QDM) #3 circuit
applies to:
- fan control relays
- a/c relay

Could that be showing up because I have a Fan Control Switch?

It depends on what it is and how it is wired.

You clear the code by fixing the problem. If you don't wire the fan switch correctly, you can get a code.

I think after that you have to disconnect the computer from the battery for so long though. I could be wrong.

Removing power from the PCM for 30-seconds will clear the code. However, if the problem is still there, the code and the SES light will come right back the first time the PCM runs the diagnostic.
