An O2 socket and a ratchet is what I used. There was 'just enough' room.

That Actron scanner is no more than a plug with a switch in the box to short the two pins. If may say it works on 94's on the box, but it does not. Been more than a few people here who have bought one, and taken it back when it doesn't work.

I ended up using crowfoot with universal and long extension. Engine now comes out of open loop but after 20minutes of running and under hard accelaration there is a knock and can see it retarding the timing.

Finally got the car running last night, ended up being the dist cap shorting out internaly once it got hot. The cap is only 1 year old and was bought from Jason ( ordered complete GM opticrap ), so much oem parts being better than aftermarket. Can't wait till MSD starts shipping their cap and rotor.
