Can't find just the Walbro 255lph pump (not w/wire kit) online?

I've looked online (jegs, summit, thunderracing, racetronix) but all I can find is the Racetronix kit. The kit seems great but I'd rather just buy the pump right now. I've done a search and not sure if a Walbro 255lph will fit "as is" or does it need modifications like Racetronix does? I didn't see an offer on their (racetronix) web page to just buy the pump from them, if they would sell it though that would be an option. If I wanted their harness I could buy it later. Any info would be appreciated.

Summit sells a Granatelli kit with just the pump, hose, etc not all the plug & play stuff for $125. However you will have to do some grinding on the stock fuel bucket to make it fit if you use the stock bucket. Also I think Racetronix sells just their pump without all the wiring but you should contact them about that.

OK, I checked Summitt again and I see the Holly Buick/Chevy/Pont 255lph intank but their application only goes to '91.
The Granatelli application begins at '92 and has a 1 year warranty They claim its a drop-in install. So how much work did you have to do on your bucket?
Thanks for the replys.

BTW I have an email into thunderracing to ask about purchaing only the pump, racetronics- "Racetronix encourages customers to purchase from our authorized dealers for personalized support." lol

Talk to Jack at Racetronix, I got mine just a few months ago. It does fit and you can buy just the pump.

There are no off-the-shelf Walbro pumps that are a direct drop-in for the F-LT1 cars other than the Racetronix custom unit. Any supplier who tells you otherwise is lying. Racetronix F-LT1 systems can be ordered through our authorized dealers who support the F-Body platform. Most dealers do not stock just the pump assembly as most people buy the complete system with the harness. If you only wish to buy the F-LT1 pump assembly for $149.99 you can special order it through More Performance or Thunder Racing.
