Just curious - are the threads on an LT1 crank the same a GEN1 small block? Have a GEN1 small block harmonic balancer installation tool (threaded rod, nut, washer and bearing) and wondered if it could be used.

I believe they are the same, but the problem with most balancer installers is that the bolt isn't long enough. You can lightly tap the hub on and then possibly use it.
