I for sure want a catback on my 96 z.The stock exhaust sounds pathetic and looks pathetic with those tips as well.

I hear lots of guys like their magnaflow and lots like the borla.Advantages of the borla is its already adjustable and easier to add an electric cutout.Its also pricey as heck.

Magnaflow is cheaper and you could add a cutout if you wanted to.

I am mostly concerned with if the borla will be annoying when fully closed especially since its a vert.I don't want resonances and annoying sounds.

So which to get guys..? Anyone not like their borla or their magnaflow.

Likely be keeping cats or getting bullet mufflers if they die.
I heard one lt1 with headers,no cats and borla and it was too loud even fully closed I think..Want something not that loud.
No headers in future either..

 

I prefer the sound of Magnaflow, it has a much deeper sound than Borla even with the block off plate in. Plus it's a few hundred $$ cheaper.
