well i finally found out what codes, can you tell me what they mean?

code 36 ECM detected less than 40 high resolution timing pulses between each low resolution pulse for 5 consecutive cycles.

and

42 PCM did not detect any EST signal within 84 crankshaft revolutions.

this is in a 94 A4 ta.

It generally (and most times) means you have an optispark problem. Either the opti, itself, or the electrical harness.

 

that is what i was thinking it could be.
