With bolts, you just remove them, and heads should just come out...

but with studs, is there enough space to lift out the heads before you take it out?

I'm just curious, thx!

Most of the new head stud kits from ARP have a hex in the end of the longer studs. This lets you back them out if you have to for clearence. The smaller ones arent a problem...

So Yeah, you can get the heads out when running studs..

Be aware that there have been some people with sealing problems when using studs. If you seal them in correctly, they should be ok, but they seem to be a little trickier than just bolts.

Liquid teflon (white stuff) is the ONLY way to fly. Never had a leak since switching to it on previous engine builds.
