No thats not really on the agenda. Its not my Z. Its an o2 sensor problem. I replaced it like 4 months ago. Only the o2 sensor bung broke taking it out. So the new one got welded in, which Im guessing is what destroyed it. I have no desire to spend $30 and lots of hours to cut a new how and buy an o2 bung and weld it in. Its a very tight spot where it goes not to mentio there is really no where you can move it too.

Remove the PCM BATT fuse for about 10 seconds to clear the code(s).

Yeah I was thinking about it, but for some reason I was thinking 4th gens were all obd-2 . And this isnt about my Z, its about my s10.

Besides, I want you to feel needed by posting it in the wrong forum.

4ht Gen F-Bodys come in 3 flavors..

-OBD-I, codes flash by shorting pins (1993 only)
-OBD-I, requires scanner (1994/95)
-OBD-II (96/97)

If your S10 happens to be an OBD-I similar to the 1993, you might be able to "flash" the codes on the ALDL connector by shorting 2 pins, but that won't "clear" them. And "clearing" them won't keep them from coming back.

If you want to stay in the dark, remove the (SES) light bulb....
