Can someone get me two measurements?

I need to know the height of a stock lt1 intake. If you look at this diagram i need to know the measurement for the "CH" line http://edelbrock.com/automotive/auto...ictor_side.gif

Also i need to know the height of the space between the top of the lt1 intake when intalled to the bottom of the wiper shroud.

Thanks!!

Ok i got the measurement for the intake itself, thanks Timberwolf!

All i need now is the measurement between the top of the intake and the bottom side of the wiper shroud.

Thanks!

Your in luck because I just so happen to have a stock LT1 intake from a 1994 Z28 that is sitting in the basement.

I can only give you the CH numbers: 5.950"

This was measured from the front of the intake and measuring points where from the lowest point of the manifold frt rail to the highest point of the intake above the throttle body.

As for the other specs my engine in my car is mounted by a motor plate/mid plate and frame in my car is chromoly tube chassis. I'm almost sure my engine was set back a touch. So specs would be off?

Hope this helps,
Jim

Where the intake first starts to go under the cowl there's about 3 inches. But a couple of inches farther back there's only 2 inches of clearance, maybe less. Hope this helps.
