I just ordered a Mallory 685 (HyFire VI) from Suimmit and they didn't have the Mallory or MSD harness in stock to wire it up. In the TPI/LT1/LS1 section I found a crane wiring harness (CRN-6000-6709) that is for "Most LT1s". The tech said it would work to wire the Igintion box to my car. Has anyone used this harness? Hopefully it is the one I need.

I need this damn question answered as well. I ordered the mallory harness from jegs who said it wasnt in stock but they could have it drop shipped to me in 10 days for a little more money. 20+ days later i call to find out where the hell it is, backordered till September 15th. Longest 10 days ever

My whole f*ckin nitrous setup is waiting on a freaking $20 part. Its pissing me off i spent all this damn money and i cant spray because of this.

Does someone have the part # for the MSD harness that will work, or atleast know if the crane part will work?????

The crane harness was the wrong one. I think I ended up getting my harness from Jegs. The one I needed was "GM dual plug coil". I don't have the part number right now, but I could probably find it if you need it.
